The monitor lizard is a big lizard that live in today's Africa, Asia, Australia and New Guinea (however some Nile monitors have been introduced in Florida, USA). In Dinosaur Revolution it is shown a monitor lizard in the Antarctic forests.

Cast Edit

The monitor lizard is first shown running on the forest floor with a swarm of mosquitoes looking for it. The reptile is then killed by stress and diseases transmited by the insects.

Curiosities Edit

The monitor lizard is one of the few venomous lizards in the world.

Errors Edit

Varanoids did not lived in Antarctica 194 million years ago because the first varanoid is called, Arcanosaurus, One of the oldest varanoids is 125 million years old.
