The Protoceratops was a dinosaur that lived between 75 and 70 million years. It measures 6 feet long and had a bony crest to protect his neck. Still possessed a sharp pointed beak and used to protect it from
predators like Velociraptor. Also had a small horn that should not have function.
Feeding
It's sharp beak was helpful to crush seeds, branches and stiff leaves.
Breeding
The young Protoceratops.
The Protoceratops should be very tender with their own babies. In Dinosaur Revolution is shown that an old male protects a young from a group of Velociraptors.
Episodes featured
The Protoceratops appears in the third episode (Survival Tactics), where an old male protects a younger individual from a group of Velociraptors. In the end of the scene, the old male dies and is eaten by azhdarchid pterosaurs. The young Protoceratops, however, is safe and sound.
